Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of the services provided by Door 2 Door Cargo Services (hereinafter referred to as “D2DCS”), a company registered under the Companies Act, 1956, with its registered office at A-43, Kiran Garden, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi - 110059.

By availing of any of our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Scope of Services
  1. Delivery of consignments
  2. Reverse pickup (DTO services)
  3. Cash on Delivery (COD)
  4. Other logistics support across India

D2DCS may use road, rail, air, or sea transport at its discretion.

2. Shipment Conditions
  1. Consignments must be properly packaged and labeled.
  2. Customers are responsible for accurate declarations.
  3. Dockets/LRs are issued based on customer declaration. D2DCS is not liable for false declarations.
3. Liability and Insurance
  1. D2DCS is not liable for loss/damage due to natural disasters, accidents, riots, fire, or incorrect address.
  2. Insurance is highly recommended. No claims without insurance will be accepted.
  3. Shipments sent at "owner's risk" are not eligible for claims.
  4. We will ship your shipment directly at owner's risk unless you ask us to book your shipment with insurance
4. Claims Policy
  1. Claims must be submitted in writing within 24–48 hours of delivery.
  2. All dues must be cleared before claim consideration.
  3. Claims submitted after this period will be rejected.
  4. No deductions from invoices are permitted.
  5. No claims will be considered for household shipments or used material
  6. For claims, you need to provide packing videos and photos, unboxing videos and photos, and internal contents photos and videos if the item is completely damaged.
  7. If the packing is found to be faulty the claim may be rejected and if possible the case can be closed with some liability as per the instructions of D2DCS.
5. Cancellation and Return Policy
  1. Cancellations accepted within 2–4 hours of order and before dispatch.
  2. Submit cancellation requests to door2doorcargoservices@gmail.com.
  3. Forward-return fees apply for canceled/returned shipments post-dispatch.
  4. Outstanding dues must be cleared before shipment handover.
6. Refund Policy
  1. Refunds processed within 14 business days post-review.
  2. Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method or wallet.
  3. Refunds are granted for eligible cases only at D2DCS's discretion.
  4. No refunds are issued until dues are cleared.
7. Cash on Delivery (COD)
  1. COD remittances are credited every Saturday post-delivery.
  2. Deliveries on Saturday are settled the following Saturday.
  3. Delays of 1–2 working days may occur due to banking/technical issues.
8. Payment Terms
  1. Payment due within 24–48 hours of invoice submission.
  2. Late payments incur ₹100/day penalty.
  3. No deductions from invoices are permitted.
9. Volumetric Weight Policy

Shipping cost is based on the higher of actual or volumetric weight. Volumetric weight is calculated as:

(Length x Width x Height in cm) ÷ applicable divisor

10. Delivery Conditions
  1. No delivery guarantees during natural disasters, accidents, or unforeseen events.
  2. Remote payments can be made via SMS, WhatsApp, or Email.
11. Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted for shipment:

  1. Weapons, alcohol, tobacco products
  2. Drugs, narcotics, psychotropic substances
  3. Hazardous, inflammable, or restricted goods

Customer affirms no restricted goods are included in the shipment.

12. Storage and Demurrage
  1. If goods are not collected within 72 hours of arrival at the delivery center, demurrage/storage fees will apply.
13. Documentation Requirements
  1. Customers must provide complete and accurate details: sender/receiver, invoices, waybills, permits.
  2. D2DCS is not responsible for delays due to incomplete or incorrect documentation.
14. Right to Modify or Suspend Services
  1. D2DCS may modify, suspend, or terminate services at any time.
  2. User access to applications or services may be blocked without prior notice.
15. Legal Jurisdiction
  1. Disputes governed by Indian law.
  2. Jurisdiction exclusively with the courts of Delhi.
  3. Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
